GoldenSpot ("we," "us") is a data-analytics tool for California Keno / Hot Spot draw history, available on the web at getgoldenspot.com. This policy explains what data the website collects and why. We designed GoldenSpot to need as little personal data as possible.
1. Your account email (if you create an account). To sign in on the web you create an account with an email and password, managed by Google Firebase Authentication. We use your email only to identify your account, secure it, and link it to your subscription. You can use most free features without an account.
2. Subscription status (only if you subscribe to Pro). Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles your card details — we never receive or store your card number. We store only whether your account's Pro subscription is active, and a subscription/customer reference, so we can unlock Pro features for you.
3. Basic technical/diagnostic data. Like most web services, our server logs standard request information (such as the time of a request and an approximate, truncated network address) to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors. This is not used to build an advertising profile.
4. Preferences stored in your browser. Your saved number sets, settings, age-gate acceptance, and session identifier are stored locally in your browser (localStorage), not on our servers. Clearing your browser storage removes them.
Only to: (a) operate and secure the service, (b) manage your account and unlock/verify Pro for subscribers, and (c) fix bugs and prevent abuse — including keeping an account signed in on one active session at a time. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Local data lives in your browser until you clear it. Account and subscription records and minimal server logs are kept only as long as needed to run the service and meet legal/accounting obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
GoldenSpot is intended for adults (18+; 21+ where required to play the lottery). It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
You can cancel your subscription at any time, and request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us. Depending on where you live (e.g., California/CCPA, EU/GDPR), you may have additional rights over your personal data.
GoldenSpot is an independent analytics tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the California State Lottery. It analyzes historical, publicly published draw data for informational and entertainment purposes only. Past results do not predict future draws.
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be noted on the site.
